I particularly like some of these voices and use one in particular for my system default now as it seems to be markedly better than Apples voices.

Ive not found any other voices for the Mac that are as good.

I use them to proof things Ive written (nothing like having someone read your material back to you), as well as (with the GhostReader application) listening to text files read by one of the voices on my iPod.

I do tend to find a favorite voice that Ill use 90 of the time, but its nice to have the others available to add some variety.
